2009 German grand prix qualifying results [SPOILER]

Mark Webber celebrates maiden pole with Jensen button and Rubens Barrichello


At his 132nd attempt, Mark Webber secured his maiden pole position on Saturday, beating Rubens Barrichello to the best time in a chaotic weather-affected qualifying session in Germany.

"It was very, very chaotic so to deliver a time when it counted was very important to me," said the 32-year-old Red Bull driver.

His teammate Sebastian Vettel, 3.5 points ahead of him in the drivers' championship, qualified just fifth.
